Travel Insurance Complaint

Ever been denied a claim for travel insurance? One of my family members contracted Cerebral Malaria while traveling and the insurance company has denied payment to UCLA Santa Monica Hospital. I'm very angry and want to know if anybody else has such a complaint...and what you did about it.
